What it does

Explains concepts

Short, plain answers that point to the exact lecture and slide a topic comes from, then ask one more question about why it matters to the business.

Helps with R

Walks through the class code and error messages with short, class-style examples, and steers students back to the code used in class.

Hints on homework

Gets students unstuck with hints and questions. It never solves graded work, checks answers, or makes the judgment calls the assignment is testing.

Coaches the project

Helps teams set up their survey and think through why each question and trait belongs, while the reasoning stays theirs.

Quizzes for exams

Asks one question at a time in the style of the in-class quizzes, explains the answer, and points to what to review.

Sends students to office hours

For judgment calls, project direction, or anything still unclear, it suggests office hours and helps students sharpen the question to bring.

Design choices

Grounded in the course. It answers from the course materials, so explanations match how topics were taught in class rather than how a general chatbot might describe them.

Private by design. Nothing a student types is stored. Each conversation disappears when it's closed.

Honest about AI use. It reminds students of the course policy to disclose how they used AI on graded work.
